During the period ended September 30, Fujitsu increased its mobile unit shipments for the thirteenth consecutive quarter to 4.9M units, a jump of over 50% from the same quarter last year (3CQ04). In addition, Fujitsu shipped 1.2M enterprise hard disk drives, sustaining its position as the second largest supplier of enterprise hard disk drives in the industry.

During the period ending June 30, Fujitsu increased its mobile hard disk drive sales for the twelfth consecutive quarter and sustained its position as the second largest supplier of 2.5" mobile hard disk drives. During the quarter Fujitsu shipped 4.45M mobile units, a 71% increase over the same quarter last year (Q2CY04). Fujitsu also maintained its position as the second largest supplier in the enterprise hard disk drive market, increasing shipments to 1.54M units, a 28% increase as compared to the same quarter last year.
