MHW2160BJ SATA
2.5-Inch, SATA, 7200 RPM
MHW2080BJ - MHW2120BJ - MHW2160BJ
Fujitsu introduces its first mobile 7,200 RPM hard disk drives developed using perpendicular recording.
- 7,200 RPM spindle speed delivers high performance mobile computing with low average data seek time
- Ultra-high capacity mobile hard disk drives (HDD) feature perpendicular magnetic recording (PMR) technology
- 2.5-inch HDDs feature Serial ATA (SATA) 3 Gb/sec interface and up to 160GB(1) of storage
- Features exceptionally high quality, reliability and performance
- Ideal for notebooks requiring high speed and capacity

- One gigabyte (GB) = one billion bytes; accessible capacity will be less and actual capacity depends on the operating environment
and formatting.
One megabyte (MB) = 1,000,000 bytes; One gigabyte (GB) = 1,000 megabytes; Gigabit (Gb) = 1,000 megabits; RPM = Revolutions Per Minute
Fujitsu raises the bar on mobile computing performance with the introduction of its first 7,200RPM, 2.5-inch hard disk drives using PMR technology. High-end notebook manufacturers have been experiencing demand for faster data access and higher disk drive capacities. The new Fujitsu 7,200RPM models satisfy both requirements, allowing manufacturers to offer true high performance mobile computing solutions.
Engineered to deliver high performance and high capacity in a small form factor, the mobile series retains the outstanding level of quality and reliability for which Fujitsu is renowned. These 7,200 RPM mobile HDDs deliver a low typical average read seek time of 10.5ms and a low average latency of 4.17ms. Featuring up to 160GB(1) of storage space, low power consumption and acoustic noise, these 2.5-inch SATA hard disk drives are an excellent choice for today’s ultra-fast, high-capacity notebook computers.
