One megabyte (MB) = 1,000,000 bytes; One gigabyte (GB) = 1,000 megabytes; Gigabit (Gb) = 1,000 megabits; RPM = Revolutions Per Minute
The latest addition to the Fujitsu mobile family of products features a series of durable and reliable hard disk drives that include the key attributes that have made earlier generation products a favorite among customers. With a continued focus on quality, Fujitsu has produced another high-performance, Parallel ATA (PATA) series that also manages to be cost-efficient. Boasting a best-in-class low acoustic noise level of 1.5 bels, the PATA HDDs provide exceptionally quiet performance, an extremely desirable feature for mobile solutions. And as with the existing line of Fujitsu products, the 2.5-inch 4,200RPM models also generate less heat and consume less power, ensuring longer battery life.
The Fujitsu 2.5-inch PATA hard disk drives are ideal for the CE market, especially since manufacturers are transitioning from 3.5-inch units in order to design more compact, power efficient and lightweight products. The qualities of the Fujitsu series are also appealing for other industrial applications.
With the delivery of the redesigned 80GB(1) capacity, 2.5-inch PATA hard disk drives, Fujitsu is again showing the depth of its product line while addressing the demands of the marketplace.
