Fujitsu achieves yet another milestone with its latest 2.5-inch Serial ATA (SATA) hard disk drive. The newest addition to the mobile product family boasts storage space of up to 200GB(1), the industry's first mobile HDD to reach this capacity.
The latest Fujitsu SATA hard disk drive was developed in response to the growing demand for higher capacity storage products required for notebook PCs. The 2.5-inch HDD also addresses the needs of the rapidly developing high-end audio/video computing market, particularly in applications such as gaming, video editing, audio recording and DVR functionality.
Fujitsu mobile hard disk drives are well known in the industry for their exceptional performance, high reliability and robustness. Standard features such as low power consumption, which helps to conserve battery life, plus near-silent operation remain attractive features to users. In addition, the 2.5-inch hard disk drives comply with the European Union's RoHS initiative to eliminate certain hazardous materials in the manufacturing of electrical and electronic equipment.
A trusted technology leader in the HDD industry for over 35 years, Fujitsu delivers another winner with its latest high-capacity SATA hard disk drive.
