Modifications

1. Addition of VRS Desktop Productivity function
   
   • Scan to desktop
     - Scanning from the desktop and the context menu of the specified foler is enabled.
   • Scan to e-mail
     - The addition of VRS button to E-mail (Microsoft® Outlook 2003 / XP/ 2007 or Lotus Notes 6.x) enables scanning and attaching the image without using another scanner application.
2. Delete Blank Pages
   The function to delete the blank page when using Image Control application is supported.
3. Addition of the supported file formats
   The follwing file formats to save are newly supported.
   
   • .png, .gif, .dcx, .lzw
4. Improvement on TWAIN application
   UI when using TWAIN application is modified in order to improve the usability.
5. Windows Vista™ 64bit support
   Windows Vista™ 64bit is newly supported.
   
   Support OS:
   
   Windows Vista™ Business (64 bit)
   Windows Vista™ Enterprise (64 bit)
   
   * Desktop Productivity function cannot be used under the 64 bit environment.

How to use

1. Begin by logging in as an "Administrator".
2. Download "VRS4.2 Professional Patch" onto your computer's desktop and then proceed to activate it. (Make sure that VRS4.1 is not running when you do this.)
3. An "Update" dialogue box will inform you when the "VRS4.2 Professional Patch" update has been completed.
