The ScanSnap S1500M has been engineered to deliver even faster performance with up to 20 pages per minute in color, grayscale, or black & white; however, S1500M remains just as fast when scanning at a higher resolution of 200 and even 300 dpi color or grayscale.

Although ScanSnap Carrier Sheets have a listed lifespan of 500 scans, variations may occur. ScanSnap Carrier Sheets are used to scan documents containing paper that weighs less than 34 lb. (127g/m 2 ) as well as folded documents as large as 8.5×11.69 in. (216×297mm).
