File size reduction with automatic color detection
ScanSnap automatically separates color documents from black and white ones and saves this information in highly compressed files, thus saving storage space.
Automatically eliminate blank pages
Since ScanSnap automatically recognizes and eliminates blank pages, each scanning job progresses smoothly, even when scanning combinations of one-sided and two-sided documents.
Simple installation and operation in a compact design
Easily install the ScanSnap via its Hi-speed USB 2.0 interface. Furthermore, the small footprint of the scanner is ideal for even the most crowded of desktops.
Organize PDF's with Adobe Acrobat 7.0
The bundled "Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Standard" displays scanned PDF files as thumbnails in Organizer. ScanSnap users can view any image in a particular file, without opening it up. Furthermore, PDF files can be assembled into a single PDF document from multiple sources.
Automatic de-skew and paper size detection
ScanSnap automatically straightens and automatically detects the following paper sizes (A4, B5, A5, B6, A6, Business Card, Legal and Letter).
