Q: What happens if I lose my ID and password for the PLD download?
A: In order to get a user ID and Password you will have to contact the Fujitsu PalmSecure Information line at (877) 7626-7545, Option 1 and a PalmSecure Representative will respond to your request.
Q. What do I do to increase the number of users on PalmSecure LOGONDIRECTOR?
A: The first thing is to make sure you do not have any remaining users available on your license agreement. If you have exceeded the limit of users and need additional user, contact your reseller to purchase additional licenses.
Q: Can the PalmSecure Mouse get attached to any USB port on my system?
A: Yes. The PalmSecure Mouse can be plugged into any USB port on your system. The mouse should be plugged into the original port the installation was completed. Plugging the mouse into another USB port other than the original USB port during installation will require you to go through the windows hardware installation again on the newly installed USB port. This is a Windows requirement.
Q: Does the PalmSecure Mouse operate like any other mouse?
A: Yes. The PalmSecure Mouse operates like any other mouse with the addition of having the PalmSecure biometric sensor embedded into the mouse.
Q: What do I do if the PalmSecure LOGONDIRECTOR does not function after I enrolled my palms and restarted the computer?
A: You need to enable the PalmSecure LOGONDIRECTOR before you can use it. Please check the section 2.2.4 in the operation manual for the detail.
Q: What do I do if I plugged the mouse before I installed the PalmSecure LOGONDIRECTOR?
A: You need to unplug the mouse first, and then uninstall the PalmSecure LOGONDIRECTOR as well as the Fujitsu PalmSecure sensor driver by using Windows’ “add and remove programs” in the control panel. After the computer restarts, re-install the PalmSecure LOGONDIRECTOR.
