The ultra-low power Apollo MCUs, based on Ambiq Micro’s patented Subthreshold Power Optimized Technology (SPOT™) platform, provide industry-leading power performance in both active and sleep modes.

This unrivaled power savings does not compromise performance. Apollo MCUs deliver the performance of an ARM® Cortex™-M4F core at power levels that are even lower than competing ARM Cortex-M0+ solutions.

The ultra-low power and high-performance processing engine of the Apollo MCU family enable complex sensor processing tasks like context detection, gesture recognition, and activity monitoring while achieving battery-life ranging from weeks, to months and even years.

Apollo 1

Apollo1

The Apollo1 MCU incorporates an ARM Cortex-M4F core and is ideal for wearable, sensor hub, and co-processing applications.

The Apollo1 sips current at 35uA/MHz @ 24MHz and as low as 143 nA in sleep mode. The MCU integrates up to 512 KB of flash memory and 64 KB of RAM to accommodate radio and sensor overhead while still leaving plenty of space for application code.

An integrated serial master and UART port enable communication with radios and sensors including accelerometers, gyroscopes, and magnetometers.

Apollo 2

The Apollo2 is a second-generation microcontroller incorporating an ARM Cortex-M4F processor with a floating-point unit. The Apollo2 MCU is ideal for wearable electronics, activity & fitness monitors, wireless sensors, and smart home/IoT applications.

Apollo2 integrates up to 1MB of flash memory and 256 KB of RAM, providing more than enough capacity for radio and sensor functions and application code.

The microcontroller integrates multiple flexible serial peripherals, including serial master and UART ports.
