Fujitsu 40A High-Temp Automotive Relay Is Market’s Smallest

Sunnyvale, CA, February 4, 2008 – Fujitsu Components America, Inc. has released the market’s smallest 40A, high-temperature-grade automotive printed circuit board relay. Capable of switching heavy loads such as for power outlets, fan motors, electronic power steering and starters, the FBR53-HW relay replaces larger plug-in relays to conserve PCB weight and real estate in Electronic Control Units.

Techniz Announces SST Technology License Agreement with Fujitsu

Sunnyvale, CA, July 10, 2007 – Techniz, Inc., a high-growth startup developing a new generation of high-speed interconnection systems for use within electronic products, today announced a license agreement with Fujitsu Component Limited (TSE: 6719). Under this agreement, Techniz will provide Self-adjusting Solder Tail Technology (SST Technology) for use in future Fujitsu SMT connector designs, including high-speed backplane connectors, mezzanine connectors and sockets. Techniz SST Technology will improve the reliability and dramatically accelerate the performance of the Fujitsu connectors.

Fujitsu Demos Production Samples of Longer Life Resistive Touch Panels

Sunnyvale, CA, May 16, 2007 – Fujitsu Components America, Inc. today released production samples of its next-generation, resistive touch panels using an organic conductive polymer material. The new, custom touch panels offer five times the durability and comparable optical properties of conventional ITO (Indium Tin Oxide)-film panels at a small price premium.
