Fujitsu Promotes Bruce Kopp to Vice President, Sales and Client Management
Frisco, TX, June 18, 2007 — Fujitsu Transaction Solutions Inc. today announced it has promoted Bruce Kopp to vice president of sales and client management. Kopp, who previously held the role of vice president of territory sales, now leads Fujitsu’s entire sales team in generating market demand for the company’s retail technology offerings. He reports directly to Ed Soladay, chief operating officer (COO).
"In his first year with Fujitsu, Bruce has demonstrated strong leadership abilities and a deep knowledge of retailers’ technology needs and objectives," said Soladay. Prior to joining Fujitsu, Kopp was an executive of the Retail Strategy team for IBM Americas, has more than 23 years of sales and management experience in the industry, and was responsible for development and delivery of IBM’s Retail Store Strategy to customers and internal sales teams.
Kopp has a master’s degree in business administration from Babson College in Wellesley, Mass. and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the State University of New York College at Oneonta.
