Fujitsu Appoints Ed Soladay Chief Operating Officer

Former President of CRS Retail Systems Joins Fujitsu Executive Team


Frisco, TX, October 27, 2005 — Fujitsu Transaction Solutions Inc. has appointed Ed Soladay to the newly created position of chief operating officer (COO). Soladay brings extensive experience in the IT industry to Fujitsu, most recently as president of CRS Retail Systems, which experienced strong growth and recognition within the specialty retail industry under his leadership.

As COO, Soladay will be responsible for driving the performance of the software operations, managed services and marketing operations at Fujitsu.

Ed Soladay Biography

Prior to joining Fujitsu, Soladay was president at Newburgh, New York-based CRS Retail Systems from August 2001 to June 2005. CRS develops software and implements turnkey computer systems for point-of-sale, back-office, retail analytics, and real-time inventory and order management applications. CRS was ranked #2 in the 2004 RIS Leaderboard survey of the top 50 retail software vendors.

In 1993, Soladay joined Affiliated Computer Services (ACS), a multi-billion dollar information processing company, in Dallas, Texas, as vice president for client services, managing the outsourcing relationship for the Southwest Region's major ACS clients. In 1996, he started the Retail Division of ACS and assumed the role of president of the Retail Division.

In 1988, Soladay joined LabForce, a start-up company in Dallas, Texas, as chief financial officer. Previously, he held executive financial positions at the U.S. Secretary of Transportation's office in Washington, D.C. and Amcore, a major holding company in the oil, gas and real estate industries.

Soladay is a native of New Mexico and holds a B.A. in Accounting and General Business degree from St. Michael's University in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
