Fujitsu Introduces New Cash Dispensers to SlimLine Product Family Serving OEM Market

Models F53 and F56 Cash Dispensers Offer Compact Design for ATMs, Teller-assist Systems

San Francisco, CA, February 27, 2004 — Fujitsu Transaction Solutions Inc. has added the Model F53 and Model F56 cash dispensers to its SlimLine product family, providing two compact and low-cost options for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) of ATMs, transactional kiosks and other cash handling equipment.

The dispensers were announced and will be displayed at Fujitsu's booth #1202 at the Food Marketing Institute's Marketechnics trade show, Feb. 29-March 2, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

"With the addition of the F53 and F56 cash dispensers, Fujitsu now offers the widest range of cash-dispenser models in this OEM category," said Randy Fox, director of OEM products for Frisco, Texas-based Fujitsu. "These units strengthen our SlimLine product family by giving manufacturers more small-footprint options for applications such as off-premise ATMs and self-service terminals that typically have lower transaction volumes."

The Model F53 integrated delivery tray can be configured to hold between two and six denominations with a capacity of 400-500 notes per cassette. It supports U.S. currency, international currency and other media, including movie tickets, coupons and more.

The Model F56 bulk presenter unit with integrated shutter can hold between two and six denominations with a capacity of 400-500 notes per cassette. It can be serviced through the front or rear of the unit and supports international currency and other media.

The Model F53 and Model F56 join the Model F50 in Fujitsu's SlimLine family, each measuring approximately six inches wide, 12.5 inches deep and 12 inches tall. Full-size Fujitsu cash dispensers available for OEMs include models F100, F400, F510 and F610 that can support from one to six denominations and up to 18,000 notes.

All cash dispensers are available through Fujitsu or its OEM partner ARCA.TECH Systems, based in Hillsborough, N.C.
