StoreNext bolsters Connected Services portfolio with Analytics & Reporting Application
Independent grocers can report, analyze transaction data via Internet
San Francisco, CA, February 27, 2004 — In an effort to further level the competitive playing field for independent grocers, StoreNext Retail Technologies LLC has introduced a Store Analytics & Reporting application within its Connected Services portfolio. The application combines four Web-based modules that remotely gather transaction data so storeowners can view and analyze sales information via the Internet.
The announcement was made at FMI's 2004 Marketechnics show, Feb. 29 - March 2 in San Francisco.
"With the Connected Store Analytics & Reporting application, independent grocers and small chains can manage their store as easily and effectively as the industry giants," said Ray Carlin, president and CEO of Plano, Texas-based StoreNext. "Storeowners simply need an Internet connection to access reports and analyze sales activity from anyplace at anytime."
Available immediately, the Connected Store Analytics & Reporting application consists of four modules:
- Report Viewer - operates on StoreNext's ISS45 software or the ScanMaster platform, and lets grocers review key store-produced reports any time via the Web.
- Reporting - browser-based analyzer operates on ISS45 and ScanMaster to present information from single stores or chainwide in modern GUI format and lets grocers query consolidated store and/or chain data.
- Sales Analysis - operates on ISS45 as an extension to Reporting module; further analyzing sales down to the item level, including cost and gross margins.
- Electronic Journal - collects the store's ISS45 transaction log data and consolidates it into a constructed database to allow faster and easier querying of the data to locate specific transactions/tickets.
The Connected Services application suite, including Connected Store Analytics & Reporting, can be ordered on a subscription basis from StoreNext dealers.
