Mehan to Discuss FAA’s Plan for Future Technologies and Investments


Richardson, TX, July 27, 2005 — Fujitsu Network Communications Inc., a leading supplier of IT and wireline/wireless networking solutions, announced today that they are sponsoring the INPUT Federal Executive Breakfast on Thursday, August 4, 2005. This breakfast and networking opportunity will feature Dr. Dan Mehan, assistant administrator for information services and chief information officer of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The breakfast will be held at the Fairview Park Marriott, 3111 Fairview Park Drive in Falls Church, Va.

Dr. Mehan will provide a general overview of current IT happenings at the FAA, discuss key challenges the FAA is currently facing and reveal how the private sector can get involved to find solutions, and disclose the FAA’s plan for future technologies and investments. Brian Haney, INPUT director of member services, will follow with a brief overview of INPUT’s IT market forecast, spending trends that are influencing growth, and upcoming technology procurement opportunities.

Registration for the event and networking opportunities will be available between 7:00 and 7:30 a.m. on August 4, 2005.
