Fujitsu to Display and Discuss Scalable Networking Solutions at CTIA Wireless 2005, Booth No. 4037

WHAT:

Fujitsu will announce a new, scalable transport switching solution for wireless carriers at CTIA Wireless 2005 in New Orleans, La. During exhibition hours, Fujitsu will discuss scalable solutions enabling wireless data networks comprising the following topics:

• Carrier-class transport switching solutions featuring the widely-adopted FLASHWAVE® 4000 Multi-Service Provisioning Platforms (MSPPs) that reduce carrier dependence on large, outdated Digital Cross-connect Systems (DCSs)
• High-capacity, packet-enabled transport and aggregation solutions that use Pseudowire Edge-to-Edge Emulation (PWE3) technology to help wireless carriers save capital and operational costs, and facilitate 3G and B3G solutions that support ATM and Ethernet backhaul
• Leading-edge WiMAX solutions that enable cost-effective wireless data delivery via certified interoperable solutions
• Comprehensive service and consulting solutions that offer support to wireless carriers at any network design, development, deployment and maintenance stage
• Seamless inventory and provisioning options that use the NETSMART® 1500 Element Management System (EMS) to provide a full suite of network and element management features for quick and efficient service activation
• Global WiFi/cellular solutions using a multiservice handset that enables enterprise presence applications
