Bell Microproducts and Fujitsu Microelectronics America Announce New Distribution Agreement

San Jose and Sunnyvale, CA, April 7, 2003 — Bell Microproducts, Inc. (Nasdaq: BELM), a leading value-added provider of high technology products and solutions serving the industrial and commercial markets, today announced a non-exclusive distribution agreement with Fujitsu Microelectronics America, Inc. (FMA), under which Bell Microproducts will distribute FMA’s LCD and plasma products throughout North and South Americas. The Fujitsu display product family includes a wide range of XGA, W-XGA, SXGA and UXGA LCDs ranging in size from 15 inches to 23.1 inches, and 32- and 42-inch high-definition color plasma modules.

Bell Microproducts’ world-class flat panel display program focuses on providing the greatest value and leading-edge solutions to the OEM marketplace. The program capitalizes on a comprehensive flat panel display product line and enhances it with value-added services including custom assembly services and display enhancements that allow the products to perform under adverse conditions.
