Fujitsu To Demonstrate New MPEG-4 AVC HD Encoder and Ethernet Solutions for the Broadcast Industry at 2007 NAB Conference & Expo
Sunnyvale, CA, October 4, 2007 — Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc., a leading supplier of innovative computer products including hard disk drives, peripherals, broadcast video products and biometric security solutions, today announced it will showcase its best-of-class high definition video encoder/decoder, the IP-9500, at the 2007 HD World Conference & Expo, October 10-11 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York, NY.
Technology is evolving quickly in the world of High Definition. The HD World conference will feature industry leading technology providers offering the latest state-of-the-art solutions. At the show, Fujitsu will conduct live demonstrations of the IP-9500, a broadcast-quality high-definition video transmission over Internet Protocol (IP) and Digital Video Broadcast (DVB) networks. Due to the exceptional video quality of the IP-9500, broadcasters can utilize a single DVBS/S2 satellite channel to deliver best-in-class, quality HD content with low data rate transmission using existing satellite hardware in a low latency mode.
