Fujitsu Exhibits Latest Storage and Security Solutions at CMP XChange Tech Innovators Conference

Sunnyvale, CA, October 22, 2006 — Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc., one of the world’s leading suppliers of innovative computer products including hard disk drives, peripherals and biometric security solutions, today announced that it will showcase its latest Serial hard disk drives (HDD) as well as the award winning PalmSecure™ biometric authentication device at the CMP XChange Tech Innovators Conference in Huntington Beach, CA on Oct. 22 - 24, 2006.

At the show Fujitsu will showcase its impressive family of HDD products, including its latest in 2.5" Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) and Serial ATA (SATA) HDD technology. Fujitsu has firmly established itself as one of the leading providers of small form factor (SFF) SAS and SATA HDDs, delivering several first to market offerings. Most recently the company announced the industry’s first 200GB 2.5" MHV2200BT mobile HDD to address growing demands for performance and capacity required for external HDD products, as well as high-end audio/video computing applications such as gaming, video editing, audio recording and DVR functionality.

Fujitsu will also showcase its award-winning PalmSecure authentication sensor, an innovative product that utilizes advanced biometric security technology for identity verification. The contactless and user-friendly sensor provides a non-invasive means to authenticate an individual by leveraging that person’s palm vein pattern. With its high level of security and user applicability, the PalmSecure device is an ideal solution for industries ranging from healthcare, government and financial markets to the general enterprise.
