Fujitsu Senior Vice President Lorne Wilson Recognized as One of VARBusiness Magazine's 'Top 100 Channel Executives'

Wilson is Named to Prestigious List, and Helps Deliver Record Channel Sales for Fiscal Year 2005

Sunnyvale, CA, April 20, 2006 — Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc., one of the world’s leading suppliers of innovative computer products including hard disk drives, peripherals and biometric security solutions, today proudly announced that its hard disk drive group achieved record channel sales in the fiscal 2005 year, ended March 31. During the period Fujitsu increased its mobile hard disk drive sales to North American OEMs and Solution Providers an unprecedented 86% over the previous year, with enterprise hard disk drive sales rising an impressive 26%.

Year over year Fujitsu has continued its success by delivering high quality, reliable hard disk drives and maintaining strong relationships with its customers. In both the mobile and enterprise arenas Fujitsu continuously works to strengthen its relationships with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), non-original equipment manufacturer (NOEMs) and channel partners to improve sales.

On April 3 the editors of VARBusiness, recognized the channel expertise of Lorne Wilson, senior vice president, sales and marketing, Storage Products Group by naming him to the list of North America’s "Top 100 Channel Executives." The list represents a pedigree of executives whose imagination and innovation are driving the information technology (IT) distribution channel.
