Fujitsu to Showcase Removable Storage Solutions at 2005 SDMS Conference
Sunnyvale, CA, October 3, 2005 — Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc., one of the world's leading suppliers of hard disk drives and computer peripherals, will demonstrate the latest in Magneto-Optical (MO) removable storage solutions at the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS) 2005 Annual Conference, October 6-9, 2005 in Dallas, TX.
At the event, Fujitsu will showcase its DynaMO® 1300 Pocket drive with DICOM® viewer. This ultraportable, hi-speed, USB 2.0 drive empowers healthcare professionals by enabling easy transportation of DICOM images and data on 3.5" MO disks (MODs) from ultrasound equipment to notebook PCs and workstations for convenient "offline" review. The durable Fujitsu 3.5-inch MODs are enclosed in a floppy-sized cartridge that protects data from shock, vibration, moisture, dust and magnetic fields, and are ideal for long-term storage and archiving. For high performance needs, Fujitsu will also demonstrate the DynaMO® 2300U2 drive, which offers 2.3GB of optical storage for a reliable, stable and solid removable media platform.
The The Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography was founded in 1970 to promote, advance, and educate its members and the medical community in the science of Diagnostic Medical Sonography. The annual conference is an opportunity for Fujitsu to educate diagnostic professionals on the latest in removable storage solutions.
