Fujitsu Honored with its Third "Meritorious Performance" Award by Sun Microsystems

Leader in Enterprise Hard Disk Drives Recognized for Outstanding Supplier Performance

Sunnyvale, CA, September 26, 2005 — Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc., one of the world's leading suppliers of hard disk drives and computer peripherals, today announced that it has received the Sun Microsystems, Inc. (Nasdaq: SUNW) Annual "Meritorious Performance" Award recognizing the company as an outstanding leader in its industry.

Sun's Supplier Awards Program is a symbol of the respect and appreciation Sun has for its suppliers. The Meritorious Award recognizes suppliers who have gone the extra mile in one or more performance areas. This is the fourth consecutive year that the Fujitsu hard disk drive division has been recognized for outstanding commitment and dedication to product quality, performance and customer relations.
