Fujitsu to Demonstrate Serial Hard Disk Drive Performance, Density and Interoperability at DISKCON USA 2005

Sunnyvale, CA, September 15, 2005 — Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc., one of the world's leading suppliers of hard disk drives and computer peripherals, today announced it will showcase the latest in Serial hard disk drive technology during the DISKCON USA 2005 Conference held September 20-21 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, CA.

Fujitsu will demonstrate a number of applications at DISKCON to showcase its industry leading small form factor Serial ATA (SATA) and Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) hard disk drives. The Fujitsu hard disk drives will be featured in four different types of enclosures, with separate focuses on performance, density and interoperability.

DISKCON USA 2005, presented by IDEMA, offers the best opportunity to learn about new products and technologies, as well as interact with leading industry executives and technologists. This year’s conference will focus on the wealth of technology generated to achieve today’s hard disk drive products, and the business environment which promotes, funds and applies these achievements. Fujitsu, a leader in the advancement of Serial hard disk drive technology and the small form factor evolution, will demonstrate and display several of its industry leading hard disk drive products at the DISKCON Product Pavilion.
