Fujitsu Director Pamela Doyle to Speak About Information Management Compliance at the AIIM Content Management Solutions Fall Seminar Series
Sunnyvale, CA, September 12, 2005 — Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc., a market leader in document imaging scanners and services, today announced that Pamela Doyle, director, Imaging Products Group spokesperson, will present on information management compliance during the AIIM Content Management Solutions Seminar series running from September 15 to October 25 in select locations throughout the country including: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis, New York, Philadelphia, Raleigh, St. Louis, St. Petersburg, Toronto, and Washington, DC.
Doyle's presentation, "Enterprise Content Management, The Value Proposition," will focus on the risks and rewards of content management defining, through case studies, how companies can achieve impressive ROI through this critical corporate component. When the security of an organization's information is threatened, or when that information is lost or destroyed, it can mean instantaneous failure. Businesses and organizations – from home offices to educational institutions to the White House – need to protect and share information quickly and confidentially in order to function efficiently. Guarding the irreplaceable intellectual property that keeps a company in business is rapidly becoming the top priority. Doyle's session will discuss the role of document imaging in the data retrieval and preservation process, including the critical capture components that enable organizations to scan and protect their data.
The AIIM Content Management Solutions Seminars provide a high-quality, educational experience for attendees where vendors and industry influencers share content-rich, real-world case studies to help businesses establish a case for enterprise content management (ECM) in their organizations, identify business requirements, write an effective RFP, understand package selection criteria, and determine ROI.
AIIM surveys its community of end-users several times a year to find out how their organizations are tackling such issues as document management, compliance, email management, storage and security of business information. The seminars provide attendees information about how their peers are handling content management challenges, and where they compare in the process.
