Fujitsu to Showcase Scanning Solutions for Government Technologists at FOSE 2005

San Jose, CA, March 29, 2005 — Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc., a market leader in document imaging scanners and services, today announced that it will exhibit and conduct product demonstrations of its workgroup, departmental and production-level document imaging scanning solutions at FOSE 2005, April 5-7 in Washington, D.C.

The Fujitsu fi-4120C2, fi-5650C, fi-5750C, and ScanSnap™ scanning solutions will be displayed and demonstrated at the Fujitsu booth, # 1925. The Fujitsu fi-4120C2 scanner is a workgroup-level scanner perfect for decentralized applications. The scanner is equipped with true 600dpi optical resolution and offers duplex and color capabilities at speeds up to 25 pages per minute (ppm). The Fujitsu fi-5650C and fi-5750C models combine performance, dependability, user flexibility for both left and right-handed users, fast scan speeds of up to 57 ppm, onboard JPEG compression, and a 8,000 documents per day duty cycle. Lastly, the Fujitsu ScanSnap scanning solution brings Fujitsu high-end scanning technology to consumers and small businesses at an affordable price by delivering one-step, one-touch conversion of paper documents into searchable Adobe PDF files at an affordable price of $495.

FOSE is the government’s premier technology exhibition and conference.
