San Jose, CA, February 22, 2005 — Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc., one of the world’s leading suppliers of hard disk drives and computer peripherals, today announced that Hypersonic, a leading provider of cutting edge technology, will utilize the Fujitsu MHT2080BH series 2.5" Serial-ATA (SATA) 5400 RPM mobile hard disk drives in its next-generation Aviator EX7 notebook computer. The Fujitsu hard disk drives will be used to create a RAID 0 array to maximize performance or RAID 1 array for fault tolerance. In designing the Aviator EX7, Hypersonic leveraged some of the most innovative technology and hardware available to combine the power of a desktop computer with a portable 17" notebook. Along with dual Fujitsu hard disk drives, the new Hypersonic notebook will feature industry leading technology as well as two optical drives to give users the flexibility and performance to tackle virtually any workload.
