Fujitsu to Showcase Secure Removable Storage and Scanning Solutions for Legal Practitioners at LegalTech 2005
San Jose, CA, January 26, 2005 — Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc, a leader in removable storage solutions and document imaging scanners and services, today announced it will showcase the latest in Magneto-Optical (MO) removable storage solutions and the award-winning ScanSnap™ scanning solution at LegalTech 2005 from January 31 – February 2, 2005 in New York, NY.
Fujitsu will showcase the DynaMO® 1300 Pocket drive, a compact and lightweight MO solution for portable data backup and file archival. Data is stored on Fujitsu 3.5-inch MO disks that provide rugged, durable, rewritable removable storage with 50-year* data archival life at less than a penny per megabyte. The Fujitsu DynaMO 1300 Pocket, combined with the recently announced SecureMO Folder file encryption software, allows legal practitioners to password-protect their sensitive legal information. Additionally, Fujitsu will demonstrate the DynaMO 2300U2 drive, a 2.3GB removable storage drive with Hi-Speed USB.
Fujitsu will also showcase its market-leading ScanSnap scanner; the first and only high-speed, double-sided color scanner that scans at speeds up to 15 pages per minute (PPM) for single-sided documents and 30 images per minute (IPM) for double-sided documents. Priced under $500, it is a compact, upright, one-touch color scanner which allows users to quickly convert paper documents into searchable Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files using Adobe® Acrobat® 6.0 Standard software. Additionally, Fujitsu will be participating in the LegalTech Treasure Hunt. Attendees that stop by booth number 3411 and complete their game piece will be entered to win a ScanSnap scanner.
