Fujitsu Serial ATA Hard Disk Drives Power the Ultimate Gaming PC at Gamercon 2004

WHAT:

Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc., one of the world’s leading suppliers of hard disk drives and computer peripherals, today announced that it will be the sole hard disk drive provider at the 2004 Gamercon conference to be held in Los Angeles, CA on November 19-21, 2004.

Fujitsu 2.5" MHT2080 Serial ATA (SATA) hard disk drives and JMR SATAStor RAID configurations will be used to power two Ultimate Gaming PCs, the ideal platform for gaming applications. SATA hard disk drives enable the high-speed transfer of data, outstripping older, 16-bit parallel bus technology. The 2.5-inch SATA hard disk drives also feature Native Command Queuing (NCQ), which simultaneously coordinates up to 32 instructions by the hard-disk drive controller. The JMR SATAStor is an extremely small, cost effective and highly scalable storage system utilizing SATA technology. The end result is an ultimate gaming PC capable of handling the latest graphic intensive titles for a more complete gaming experience.

The Gamercon event brings together all genres of gaming. Attendees can play and compete in LAN games, tabletop games, and trading card games.
