Fujitsu to Exhibit Leading Storage Technology at CMP XChange 2004
San Jose, CA, August 10, 2004 —
WHAT:
Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc. (FCPA), one of the world's leading suppliers of hard disk drives and computer peripherals, today announced that it will participate at CMP's annual XChange conference.
The Fujitsu storage channel team will showcase the latest in Small Form Factor (SFF) technology and innovative interface designs with the MHT2080BH, the industry's only 2.5" Serial ATA mobile hard disk drive, as well as their MAV series 2.5" Serial Attached SCSI 10K RPM enterprise hard disk drive. The company will also demonstrate its current line-up of award-winning 15K and 10K RPM enterprise hard disk drives and 2.5" mobile hard disk drives with capacities up to 100GB.
Fujitsu will also demonstrate one of its external magneto-optical (MO) storage solutions - the DynaMO® 1300 Pocket drive. The Fujitsu DynaMO 1300 Pocket is an affordable, compact and lightweight drive that uses 3.5" removable disks for portable data backup and file storage.
CMP XChange events, sponsored by CRN and VAR Business, provide vendors and solution providers with an opportunity to meet face-to-face, establish new business partnerships and gain strategic insight. XChange 2004, the largest CMP event of the year, will attract 250 solution providers and features a Solutions Pavilion offering intimate, focused technology centers where attendees have the opportunity to share strategy and vision and display cutting edge products.
