Fujitsu's Don McMahan Named Treasurer of AIIM for 2004-2005
San Jose, CA, April 28, 2004 — Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc. (FCPA), a market leader in document imaging scanners and services, today announced that Don McMahan, vice president of sales, Imaging Products Group, has been elected Treasurer of the Association for Information and Image Management (AIIM), the international authority on Enterprise Content Management (ECM).
McMahan was elected to the AIIM Board of Directors in 2003 and will now serve as Treasurer for a one-year term, through May 2005. In his new role as Treasurer, McMahan joins the Executive Committee of The Board and becomes the chair for the Finance Committee. His new responsibilities include regulation of management expenses as well as supervision of the AIIM organization P&L.
"AIIM and its members are driven to advance the ECM industry through education and improved best practice strategies," said McMahan. "There has never been a period of time such as this where so many companies are looking to ECM as one of its core critical business strategies. It's an exciting time to be a part of the AIIM organization and I'm looking forward to taking on the role of Treasurer."
"Since Don joined the Board of Directors in 2003, he has assisted the organization's highly successful efforts to grow and strengthen the association," said John Mancini, AIIM President. "We continue to add depth and experience to the team that will extend our lead in this booming market and are pleased to welcome Don to his new role as Treasurer."
McMahan brings to AIIM a 20-year record of accomplishment and business leadership within the document imaging and services industries. In his current post at Fujitsu, McMahan manages the sale of FCPA imaging products in the U.S. and Latin America territories. In McMahan's more than six years managing FCPA's document imaging sales, the Imaging Products Group has strengthened its number one position in the enterprise-level document imaging market.
