Fujitsu Partners with Tech Data to Showcase Innovative Laptop Design

San Jose, CA, April 27, 2004 — Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc. (FCPA), one of the world's leading suppliers of hard disk drives and computer peripherals, today announced that Tech Data is featuring Fujitsu hard disk drives in a white-box notebook or 'whitebook' demonstration. The state of the art notebook was showcased at the Intel Channel Conference roadshow in Miami, FL (April 16) and Tampa, FL (April 22) and will also be shown in Atlanta, GA (April 27), Washington D.C. (May 6) and Boston, MA (May 20).

The whitebooks featured Fujitsu's MHT-AH hard disk drives, as well as other drives from the MHT mobile hard disk drive family. With capacities of 40GB, 60GB and 80GB, a 5400RPM rotational speed, and a 2.5" form factor, the Fujitsu MHT-AH is big enough to hold large multimedia presentations, fast enough to run them, and small enough to fit in today's compact mobile computers, notebooks and consumer electronic devices. Fujitsu's hard disk drive also achieves high areal densities in a 9.5-mm form factor with outstanding shock tolerance and low track-to-track seek times.
