Fujitsu to Participate in Intel Channel Conference Spring 2004 Road Show


San Jose, CA, April 13, 2004 — 

WHAT:

Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc. (FCPA), one of the world's leading suppliers of hard disk drives and computer peripherals, today announced that it will participate in thirteen cities listed on the Spring 2004 Intel Channel Conference tour. The biannual road show is specifically designed to educate channel distribution partners on the latest in product launches, technology announcements, and program benefits.

Fujitsu will showcase several of its industry leading mobile and enterprise hard disk drives including the rugged, quiet, and compact 5400RPM MHT-AH hard disk drive for mobile applications offering up to 80GB of capacity and the 15K MAS series enterprise hard disk drive offering up to 73.5GB of capacity. The company will also demonstrate several of its Magneto-Optical (MO) storage solutions including the ultraportable, 1.3GB DynaMO® 1300 Pocket drive, a low cost, compact and lightweight removable optical disk drive for data backup and file storage.

Additionally, Fujitsu will highlight its recently announced MAT3300 enterprise hard disk drive which is the industry's first 75Gb/sq.in. 4-platter enterprise design to deliver 300GB of storage capacity in a 10K RPM 3.5" form factor, and their MAU3147 enterprise hard disk drive which is the industry's first 15K RPM, 147GB 4-platter hard disk drive. Fujitsu will also discuss its mobile 5400 RPM 2.5" Serial ATA hard disk drive intended for use in blade servers, mobile products, and consumer applications, and its 2.5" small form factor Serial-Attached SCSI hard disk drive which is currently in testing with OEMs.
