Fujitsu to Showcase Innovative Scanning and Data Storage Solutions for Legal Professionals at the ABA Techshow 2004

San Jose, CA, March 23, 2004 — Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc. (FCPA), a market leader in document imaging scanners and services and a leading provider of removable storage solutions, today announced it will be exhibiting and conducting product demonstrations of its award-winning scanning and removable storage solutions at the 2004 ABA TECHSHOW in Chicago, Illinois, March 25-27, at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers, in booth number 711.

Fujitsu will demonstrate their ScanSnap!™ scanning solution and the fi-4120C color, duplex scanner. Additionally, Fujitsu will show the recently announced 1.3GB DynaMO® 1300 Pocket ultraportable removable storage drive along with the 2.3GB DynaMO 2300U2 high-performance drive at the event. Since the Fujitsu ScanSnap! scanner introduction in April 2003, the scanning solution has seen significant market growth in its use among  businesses within the legal community. The Fujitsu ScanSnap! scanning solution is a compact, upright, one-touch color scanner, allowing users to quickly convert paper documents into searchable PDF files that are easily shared, organized and protected. The Fujitsu fi-4120C scanner is a workgroup-level scanner perfect for decentralized applications. The scanner is equipped with true 600dpi optical resolution, offers duplex and color capabilities at speeds up to 25 pages per minute (ppm)/15 images per minute (ipm) at 200dpi monochrome and grayscale, and 25ppm/25ipm at 150dpi full color.

The ultraportable Fujitsu DynaMO 1300 Pocket drive is 15oz light and 23mm thin. Power is supplied directly through its Hi-Speed USB 2.0 interface, eliminating the need for an AC adapter. Fujitsu 3.5-inch Magneto Optical Disks protect critical data from shock, vibration, moisture, dust and magnetic fields, and provide greater than 50-year archival life* at less than a penny per megabyte.
