Fujitsu's Imaging Products Group Names Tech Data 2003 Distributor of the Year and Service Distributor of the Year

New York, NY, March 09, 2004 — Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc. (FCPA), a market leader in document imaging scanners and services, today announced that Tech Data Corporation (Nasdaq: TECD) was named Distributor of the Year and Service Distributor of the Year for 2003 by Fujitsu's Imaging Products Group (IPG). Fujitsu's annual Channel Awards recognize top-performing resellers, distributors and integrators, specifically acknowledging companies who exemplify a true commitment to innovation that results in the highest sales and world-class business performance.

Tech Data Corporation, a leading worldwide provider of IT products, logistics management services and other value-added services, was presented with the awards during a private ceremony at the AIIM 2004 Exposition and Conference, held March 8-10 at the Javits Convention Center in New York City.  

Tech Data and Fujitsu have established a thriving business partnership since the mid-1990s resulting in Tech Data receiving the prestigious Distributor of the Year award for the fourth year in a row for best scanner sales performance in the United States, and the Service Distributor of the Year award for the third year in a row for its sales performance of Fujitsu's services suite products and programs.
