Fujitsu Named Pixel Translations Channel Partner Of The Year By Captiva Software
San Jose, CA, July 28, 2003 — Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc. (FCPA), a market leader in document imaging scanners and services, today announced it has received the Pixel Translations Channel Partner of the Year Award for 2003 from Captiva Software Corporation (Nasdaq: CPTV). Pixel Translations is a leading provider of document imaging toolkits and scanner drivers for software developers and a division of Captiva Software Corporation.
The Pixel Translations Channel Partner of the Year Award was presented to Fujitsu at Capture 2003, Captiva's Input Management Technology Conference held in San Diego, California on July 14 - 15. Captiva's Capture 2003 awards recognize its customers and channel partners of the year for their excellence and innovation in their use or promotion of Captiva solutions.

Last year, Captiva announced a major expansion of its strategic relationship with Fujitsu to bundle Pixel's ISIS® scanner driver system and include a demonstration version of Pixel's scanning utility, PixTools® QuickScan™ Pro, with Fujitsu's award-winning fi-Series scanners shipping worldwide. As part of the agreement, Fujitsu markets Captiva's ISIS scanner driver system and the accompanying Pixel Translations technologies through its sales and reseller channels throughout the world.
The partnership agreement between the two companies expanded Fujitsu's long-standing relationship with Captiva's Pixel Translations, which has been a technology partner of Fujitsu Computer Products of America since 1995. Today, almost all of Fujitsu's scanners shipped in the United States include an Image and Scanner Interface Specification (ISIS) driver, helping to establish the ISIS scanning interface as the standard for connecting high-performance scanners to imaging applications.
