Fujitsu Sees Rapid Sales Growth In New Distribution Channel Through Accenture's Connection To eBay Service

Sunnyvale, CA and San Jose, CA, June 23, 2003 — Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc. and Accenture (NYSE: ACN) today announced that sales of Fujitsu's refurbished low- to high-end scanners have increased seven-fold since the March 2003 opening of the first Fujitsu Scanner Outlet on eBay. The Fujitsu Scanner Outlet - http://www.fcpa.com/partners/where-to-buy/ebay.html - was built by Accenture's Connection to eBay service and allows Fujitsu to sell its refurbished inventory to eBay's global community of approximately 69 million registered users.

In addition to the rapid sales growth seen through this new on-line distribution channel, more than 90 percent of the small- and medium-sized businesses buyers are first-time customers for Fujitsu.

Some of these services include setting up and launching the dedicated Fujitsu Scanner Outlet on eBay, developing Fujitsu's auction strategy, managing a high volume of listings, handling pre-sales customer support and managing the checkout process.
