PC Magazine Selects Fujitsu's Hard Disk Drives For Editor's Choice Award

Fujitsu's Enterprise and Desktop Drives Selected for Speed, Value Among 16 Competing Hard Disk Drive Products

San Jose, CA, October 8, 2001 — Fujitsu Computer Products of America today announced two of its hard disk drive products were awarded PC Magazine's UK Editor's Choice award for both speed and best monetary value in a recent review of 16 hard disk drive products from leading vendors. The winning Fujitsu hard disk drives were the MAN3367MP enterprise SCSI drive and MPG3409AH desktop IDE drive.  

According to PC Magazine, Fujitsu's MAN Series drive was the fastest drive tested, yet still managed to offer the best value for money of the four leading SCSI drives that were reviewed, particularly in data-streaming and bandwidth intensive environments.

Additionally, the company's desktop MPG Series IDE drive outperformed the competition and delivered the best dollar value compared to 12 other similar IDE drives.
