Fujitsu's Imaging Product Group Recognizes Ingram Micro As Fastest Growing Distributor
Annual Award Honors Innovative Business Partner With Highest Sales Growth For FY2000
San Jose, CA, September 28, 2001 — Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc. (FCPA), a market leader in document imaging scanners, today announced that FCPA's Imaging Product's Group (IPG) named Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM) its Fastest Growing Distributor for FY2000. The annual award recognizes FCPA's top-performing business partners, specifically acknowledging the companies who exemplify a true partnership through innovation that results in world-class business performance.
Ingram Micro, the largest global wholesale provider of technology products and supply chain management services, was presented with this year's award for achieving the highest year-over-year distribution sales revenue growth in Fujitsu scanners, service, and consumables during the FY2000 period ending March 31, 2001. From fiscal years 1999 to 2000, Ingram Micro attained 430 percent sales growth.
