The new Perpendicular Magnetic Recording (PMR) drive series attains up to 320GB, the industry’s highest capacity point for a 2.5” 5400RPM HDD, and with the Serial ATA (SATA) 3.0Gb/sec interface, delivers transfer speeds of up to 300MB per second. Developed in response to the growing demand for higher capacity storage products required for notebook PCs, compact PCs, consumer electronics and power-conscious applications, the MHZ2 BH will be available to customers in the first quarter of 2008.
