During the second quarter, Fujitsu shipments of mobile hard disk drives (HDDs) surpassed 5.24M units, an increase of nearly 18% over the same quarter in 2005. In addition, strong execution on the enterprise side resulted in a significant improvement of 18% from the previous quarter, with shipments of enterprise HDDs totaling 1.42M units.
