- Fujitsu Is First Vendor to Have Rack and Tower Servers Certified for ENERGY STAR 1.0
Sunnyvale, CA, August 31, 2009 – Fujitsu has announced that it is the first vendor to comply with the stringent ENERGY STAR® 1.0 rating for both its rack and tower servers. In the first phase, four PRIMERGY® server configurations will be ENERGY STAR 1.0-certified, underlining Fujitsu's overall approach of innovation and efficiency to reduce carbon footprint and help customers cut power consumption and costs. Confirmation is expected shortly for systems currently undergoing ENERGY STAR certification.

- Fujitsu Microelectronics and TSMC to Collaborate on 28nm Process Technology
Tokyo and Hsin-chu, Taiwan, August 27, 2009 – Fujitsu Microelectronics Limited and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, Ltd. (TWSE: 2330, NYSE: TSM) today announced that they have agreed to collaborate on 28-nanometer (nm) process technology targeted for foundry production of Fujitsu Microelectronics’ 28nm logic ICs and to jointly develop an enhanced 28nm high-performance process technology by utilizing TSMC’s advanced technology platform.

- Fujitsu One of the First Vendors to Achieve Multinational EPEAT Certification
Sunnyvale, CA, August 17, 2009 – Fujitsu today announced that it is one of the first companies to achieve multinational certification for technology products, as the Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool (EPEAT®) registry goes global. EPEAT is a comprehensive Green IT product rating system, with a registry of more than 1,000 products and more than 30 participating manufacturers.
