Fujitsu Delivers Volume Production of its Mobile 2.5" Serial ATA Hard Disk Drives

San Jose, CA, April 28, 2005 – Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc., one of the world’s leading suppliers of hard disk drives and computer peripherals, today announced volume production of the world's first and only 2.5" Serial ATA (SATA) drives, with volume shipments to distribution partners beginning immediately. Since it was announced, the Fujitsu 2.5" SATA hard disk drives have redefined possibilities for manufacturers in emerging notebook, consumer application and enterprise storage markets.

Fujitsu Reports FY 2004 Financial Results

Tokyo, April 27, 2005 – Fujitsu Limited, a leader in customer-focused IT and communications solutions for the global marketplace, today reported consolidated net sales of 4,762.7 billion yen (approximately US$44,512 million*) for fiscal year 2004 (April 1, 2004 - March 31, 2005), roughly even with the net sales recorded in the previous fiscal year. Solid sales gains in the Platforms segment helped to offset modest sales declines in Software & Services and Electronic Devices. Although sluggish domestic sales and certain problematic projects in Japan adversely impacted Software & Services income, bolstered by continued gains in production efficiency, strong results in Platforms - where operating income more than doubled - and higher income in Electronic Devices contributed to an increase in consolidated operating income to 160.1 billion yen (US$1,497 million), up 3.4% over the previous year.

Under terms of the agreement, DynAccSys will use Interstage XWand, Fujitsu's industry-leading XBRL software toolkit, to develop the XABRA Tools. This XBRL-enabled application system allows for seamless data exchange and integration among disparate systems and permits compliance with financial reporting mandates, such as Sarbanes-Oxley and Basel II. DynAccSys, a provider of enterprise technology, consulting services and accounting solutions, will deliver the XABRA solution to its customer base of mid-size businesses and federal government agencies.

Tokyo, April 8, 2005 – Fujitsu Laboratories, Ltd. and Fujitsu Laboratories of America, Inc. (FLA) today announced the establishment and commencement of operations of a grid-based large-scale computing research environment that enables more efficient mutual use of computing resources at Fujitsu R&D facilities in Japan and the U.S. In conjunction with the inauguration of the new environment, the two companies augmented the computer resources for the grid, upgrading the simulation environment currently available to Fujitsu for in-house use by about three-fold, to over 2,000 nodes.
