Fujitsu Develops All-Plastic Ferrule for Optical Connectors

Sunnyvale, CA, January 28, 2003 – Fujitsu Component Ltd. (Head Office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; Capital: 2764 Million Yen; President: Tozo Ono] and Fujitsu Laboratory Ltd. [Head Office: Nakahara-ku, Kawasaki City; Capital: 5 Billion Yen; President: Michio Fujisaki] have jointly developed a process for mass-producing inexpensive, all-plastic ferrules with high strength, high durability and optical characteristics equivalent to traditional Zirconia ferrules.

Fujitsu Software Corporation Partners with RCO

San Jose, CA, January 28, 2003 – Fujitsu Software Corporation today announced an OEM agreement with RCO, a provider of Internet-based records management solutions. Under terms of the agreement, Fujitsu Software Corporation's Interstage i-Flow business process management (BPM) solution will be embedded in RCO's Image 2000 records management software. The addition of Interstage i-Flow's best-in-class BPM and workflow capabilities will extend RCO's ability to support complex and heavily regulated industries where tracking processes and data are equally critical.
