About the Speakers
Georgette Wilson, RHIA Ms Wilson oversees the Transcription, Inpatient Scanning, Record Completion and Birth Registry sections of the HIS Department.
Wilson is a Past President of Massachusetts Health Information Management Association. Ms Wilson was one of the original
Community Education Coordinators trained to promote the AHIMA My PHR Campaign and continues to serve as the Massachusetts
Community Education Coordinator. She also served as Chair of the MaHIMA Public Relations Committee.
Michael Palumbo Mr. Palumbo is an Electronic Health Records Analyst in the Health Information Services Department. Michael came to BWH almost
two years ago and has played a prominent lead role in the Inpatient scanning project from an analytical, technical, and project
management standpoint.
