District Director

Fujitsu Consulting (FC) is currently seeking an experienced candidate to lead a field sales team in growing consulting service sales within the east and west districts. The District Director (DD) is one of three DDs reporting directly to the Regional Vice President and is one of nine divisions across the US.

This managerial role will involve 25 percent to 50 percent travel, both day and overnight, by personal car and air. In addition to regular travel within the district, there will be tradeshows, other marketing events and corporate meetings. All business-related expenses are reimbursed.

  • Manage a team of 10-20 Account Executives (AE’s) selling consulting services to mid-market clients ($.5B-$5B) in the designated sales district
  • Executing FC’s “Client for Life” program of partnering with our clients to provide ongoing consulting services
  • Interviewing and hiring sales AE’s
  • Assisting AE’s in the development of sales plans targeted at growing accounts within the sales district. The DD will be actively involved with major clients, working at the C-level within client organizations to assist the AE in closing and delivering consulting work
  • Mentor AE’s to achieve and exceed their annual sales quotas
  • Identify and address training needs or performance issues among team members
  • Work closely with the Regional Vice President and fellow District Directors in executing FC’s vision of delivering a full suite of services to our clients
  • Ensure 100 percent compliance to AE ethical standards
  • Experience dealing with C-level client executives with the ability to engender trust among client executives
  • Previous experience managing outside10-20 sales reps
  • Previous experience managing a team achieving sales quotas of $30-$50M annually
  • Experience managing a P&L
  • Demonstrated personnel management and team building experience
  • Five-plus years experience in the consulting industry
  • Five-plus years experience selling services
  • Experience selling one or more major ERP packages
  • Field sales and territory management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and re-prioritize as necessary
  • Willingness to take on challenging tasks with a “can do” attitude
  • Strong computer skills required including but not limited to MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • College degree preferred
