Real Vision Software, Inc. Wins Fujitsu Innovative Leadership Award

Real Vision Software, Inc. Wins Fujitsu Innovative Leadership Award Providing fully integrated Imaging Solutions for county government in Texas, with NET Data Corporation.
Real Vision Software, Inc., a world-class provider of imaging software has teamed with NET Data Corporation, a leading application software provider for county government in Texas to provide state and local government with Integrated Imaging Solutions throughout Texas. All NET Data software applications are image enabled. This allows tremendous increases in process and reduction in employee time. In addition, physical files are now literally available to county employees within seconds to support the functions of the counties. County services have been streamlined. Many counties' courthouses are close to 100 years old and budgets are typically tight. With Net Data and RVI, fewer people are required to manage the needs of the public and storage space growth is in check. Currently there are over 30 counties in Texas utilizing the NET Data/RVI Integrated solutions with great success.
In Sulphur Springs (Hopkins County), Texas, this solution has been implemented countywide. The District and County Clerks, County Judge, District Attorney, Tax Office, and Auditor's Office all utilize the imaging system. Hopkins County has 18 Fujitsu scanners installed to initiate the process of storing documents digitally. Many Fujitsu scanning stations utilize Kofax VirtualReScan (VRS) technology, the de facto industry standard for image processing. As quickly as images pass through the scanner, VRS performs a multi-pointinspection of each document. VRS instantly checks and adjusts for alignment (skew), brightness, contrast, and image clarity. Any inconsistencies are immediately corrected by VRS so that only the straightest, most readable images are moved into the NET Data/RVI applications. VRS is a tremendous productivity tool for all NET Data customers. Kofax VRS software works in conjunction with Fujitsu scanners.
In the County Judges office the commissioner's court minutes are scanned into the system on a Fujitsu fi-5750C. This Fujitsu fi-5750C scanning station is equipped with OCR software, which allows for keyword searches of all court minutes. This is a tremendous time saver and eliminates the need for filing cabinets full of years of court documents.
Hopkins County like many other counties have been using NET Data's Imaged enabled applications and Fujitsu scanners for many years. NET Data Marketing Manager, Bill Moser, "We recommend the Fujitsu scanners quite simply because they are reliable, and deliver the quality our customers demand. We want to minimize hardware support issues and the Fujitsu scanners are the best, and we tested the rest."
