- Fujitsu Introduces World's Most Advanced Full Disk Encryption Technology for Laptop Hard Disk Drive Data Protection
Sunnyvale, CA, April 21, 2008 – Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc., a leading supplier of innovative computer products including hard disk drives, peripherals and biometric security solutions, today announced full disk encryption (FDE) for its 2.5" 7,200RPM SATA hard disk drive (HDD) line-up with up to 320GB¹, offering the industry’s highest security standard for data at rest. The Fujitsu MHZ2 CJ series is the first HDD in the world to support the hardware-based AES-256 bit encryption standard, enabling the HDD to provide the strongest data protection from unauthorized access by setting a password. Sunnyvale, CA, January 15, 2008 – The transition from Standard Definition to High-Definition (HD) media production requires a network upgrade to edit HD content in real-time. Traditional 1-Gigabit networks do not have the necessary bandwidth to move large HD video files in a timely manner. A subsidiary of Union Editorial, LLC, resolution, Inc., has built a 10-Gigabit Ethernet backbone to produce HD television commercials, music videos, film trailers, promos and montages at its production facility in Los Angeles, CA. Technology from Maximum Throughput Inc.
