  • Fujitsu announces partnership with Positek RFID LP to grow the RFID market in North America Foothill Ranch, CA, United States, November 06, 2017 - Fujitsu Frontech North America Inc., a leader in innovative technology and front-end solutions, today announces that it has partnered with Positek RFID L.P. to form a new subsidiary company, Positek RFID Inc., with the objective to expand the market for washable RFID technologies in North America. Positek RFID L.P. creates and installs custom-designed laundry management solutions that enable companies to improve productivity by reducing labor and merchandise costs and accurately tracking, sorting and managing inventory. Jeff Markman will continue his leadership role, as president of the new company, reporting to the board of directors. Herb Markman will also be actively involved with Positek RFID Inc. and assume the position of Chief Technology Officer.

  • Fujitsu announces ultra-thin washable UHF RFID Fashion tag “mini” for fashion apparel and accessories Foothill Ranch, CA, United States, May 09, 2017 - Fujitsu Frontech North America Inc., a leader in innovative technology and front-end solutions has announced today that Fujitsu has developed their thinnest UHF RFID tag for high fashion apparel, garments and accessories. The new WT-A533L washable UHF RFID Fashion tag mini is only 7 millimeters wide, which enables fashion apparel manufacturers and garment rental companies to easily insert the new tag into garments and high fashion items without using a pouch or heat-seal tape. Using an RFID tag in fashion items assures trackability, reduces loss and provides positive item identification. Fujitsu will be showing the new WT-A533L Fashion Tag mini as well as its entire family of washable RFID tags at the RFID Journal Live Conference and Exposition on May 9-11, 2017, at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix Arizona in booth #630.
