RoHS Compliance / Lead Free

The European Community has established a July 1, 2006 phase-out date for hazardous materials in electronic products. On October 21, 2005 the European Commission decided to exempt the use of cadmium and cadmium compounds in electrical contacts. The reason for this decision is that certain materials and components containing cadmium, should be exempt from the restriction since the use of these hazardous substances in those specific materials and components is considered unavoidable.

If you're among the companies required to meet the RoHS legislation mandate, Fujitsu can help. Click on one of the links below to access details on our lead-free, RoHS-compliant products.
