The Pillars of Fujitsu Americas Responsible Business Program
Fujitsu Americas is looking to develop a U.S-based strategic partnership with a charitable organisation that can demonstrate a clear drive to improve the lives of the people and communities they support and has potential to benefit from Fujitsu’s core skillset as a technology company.
The selected partner will work collaboratively with Fujitsu’s Leadership Team to agree and deliver an innovative strategy and business plan, ensuring Fujitsu’s expertise in business and ICT are fully utilised and benefit to the charity is maximised. The relationship will not rely solely on fundraising monies only but also concentrate on unique B2B initiatives and skills-sharing.
Fujitsu has locations across the U.S. and therefore it is a pre-requisite that the charity be U.S. wide, and ideally able to offer engagement opportunities elsewhere in the Americas.

Fujitsu UK & Ireland and Action for Children
In 2016, Fujitsu in the UK and Ireland completed a two-year partnership with Action for Children, a charity that supports some of the most vulnerable and neglected children in the region – a relationship that has seen both organisations working and growing together, ensuring the successful roll out of a co-owned strategy and high profile partnership that was developed with the key objective to deliver maximum impact for the charity.
Fujitsu contributed over £200,000 toward the Action for Children partnership, and worked together on a Digital Case File project with Action for Children. Action for Children took a lead role in directing Fujitsu’s expertise where they it was needed most, through a varied program of initiatives covering all areas from employee and partner engagement to HR and Marketing support. Fujitsu South Africa and the Little Rose Centre
Fujitsu in South Africa is currently partnering with the Little Rose Centre, its first corporate charity partner. The Little Rose Centre is a crèche, a shelter, and a Youth Centre in Kliptown, one of the poorest areas in Soweto, South Africa. It accommodates 140 children, 18 of whom live at the Centre, through daycare services, kindergarten classes, after school programs, computer classes, dance workshops, and a soup kitchen. In addition to other fundraising and volunteering, Fujitsu has installed a computer laboratory at the Centre. This enables access to technology and development of digital skills among the children as well as the charity staff, and is the basis of our ongoing engagement with the charity.
